A collaborative multidisciplinary space
At the Apogee Space we facilitate a range of services to improve the use of assistive technology, including speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy.
The Magic Room is a multisensory communication environment for learning, therapy and play. Using switches, touch screens, eye gaze and more, our service users can interact with the sensory environment, play computer games, and learn through accessible, curriculum-aligned software activities.
Family-first
Language, learning, play… none of it happens alone.
Interaction is at the heart of everything we do, and that’s why our space is family-first. We love to get siblings, families, and caregivers participating together. This removes barriers for many looking to use the space, and helps build a supportive network for service users.
An education and training hub
We regularly host training sessions, multidisciplinary team meetings, and equipment demonstrations. Check out our schedule for upcoming events!
Looking for a dedicated space to hold a client consultation or therapy session? We welcome professionals to rent our fully-equipped space, with a technician on hand for any of your needs.
Meet Chris, founder of Apogee
The Apogee Space is the fulfillment of a long-time dream of Chris Peak, an Assistive Technology Specialist (with a love of gaming, tech, and interior design!). Chris is a dad of five, and daughter Harriet is the official tester for all new spaces, games, and devices at the Apogee Space.
